The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe technically sits at Northstar on the California side, but for Nevada-based travellers the closest true luxury spa is at Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Stateline. Its 16,000-square-foot spa runs lake-view treatment rooms and a solid outdoor hot tub circuit. Massages start around $220 for 60 minutes. Hyatt Regency Incline Village follows close behind with the Stillwater Spa, smaller but with better ski-day recovery packages and lakefront access included with any treatment.
Harveys and Harrah's in Stateline both run competent casino-hotel spas — expect efficient rather than transcendent. The advantage is winter pricing: a 50-minute massage runs $150 midweek in January versus $220 at Edgewood. If you’re staying at either casino anyway, book on-property to skip the drive. The Landing Resort in South Lake Tahoe crosses into California but sits five minutes from the state line and runs arguably the most intimate spa on the south shore.

The honest trade-off across Nevada-side Tahoe: winter spa demand is brutal on ski-storm days when everyone bails off the mountain. Summer is easier for walk-ins but pool decks get packed and the ambient noise seeps into treatment rooms at the casino properties.
