A specific stop-by-stop walk from SAHARA to Mandalay Bay using skybridges and indoor connections to stay cool.

North Strip: SAHARA to the Venetian

Start at SAHARA station on the monorail or by rideshare drop. The north Strip is the ugly stretch on foot — do it first, before you are tired. Walk south past the Fontainebleau (peek at the lobby), Resorts World (interesting Asian food hall), and cross to Wynn and Encore. This side has the good sidewalks. Cut through Wynn's lobby to see the floral installations, exit at the Venetian, and spend 20 minutes on the canals inside. This first mile takes about 90 minutes with stops.

Center Strip: Venetian to Bellagio

From the Venetian, skybridge to Treasure Island, then down to the Mirage volcano (check if it is still running post-renovation before you plan on it). Cross to the Forum Shops at Caesars for the ceiling and the fountain, out the south end to the Bellagio. This is the walkable heart. Time the Bellagio fountains — every 30 minutes during the day. Interior of Bellagio: Conservatory, Chihuly ceiling, poker room. Total: another 90 minutes.

South Strip: Bellagio to Mandalay

Cross to the Cosmopolitan, then skybridge to Aria and through Crystals to Park MGM. Vegas Golden Knights fans should detour into T-Mobile Arena's plaza. Continue past New York-New York (Statue of Liberty photo), Excalibur, Luxor pyramid, and finish at Mandalay Bay. The Shark Reef aquarium ($30) is a legitimate stop with kids. Rideshare back to your hotel — do not walk it in reverse. Sleep Center Strip so the middle of this walk is your front door.
