El Paso International Airport is served by major airlines and is about a 15-minute drive from downtown. Interstate 10 runs through the city, connecting it to Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Tucson, Arizona. From the east, U.S. 62/180 comes from Carlsbad, New Mexico. For getting around, a car is useful for the Mission Trail and the Franklin Mountains, but downtown and Kern Place are walkable.
