4- and 5-star hotels in Sedona
It is for travellers weighing resort spas, canyon-side lodges and small inns, with guest ratings, distances to the centre and facilities laid out side by side.
Staying in Sedona
Sedona has long drawn artists and visitors interested in spiritual and wellness practices, with galleries and studios in the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village and various centres and tours in the area. Outdoor recreation is central: easy walks to challenging hikes, jeep tours, mountain biking and golf. The climate is mild in spring and fall, hot in summer and cool in winter with occasional snow, and the town works as a base for Montezuma Castle and, on a longer drive, the Grand Canyon.
The hotels here sit on both sides of Highway 89A and along Highway 179. Several cluster near the centre: L'Auberge de Sedona on L'auberge Lane, A Sunset Chateau on Sunset Drive, Creekside Inn Sedona on Copper Cliffs Dr and Amara Resort and Spa on Amara Lane, all within roughly 2 km of the centre. Others lie further out, including Mii amo and Enchantment on Boynton Canyon Rd, The Wilde Resort and Spa on West State Route 89A, Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock on Ridge Trail Dr and Outbound Sedona on State Route 179. Couples, families, spa-seekers and short-break visitors all find something; a car helps.
